Empower T1D Camps
Morelands Copse Camping hosts camps and activity days for the on site charity Empower T1D.
Empower T1D was founded in 1994 by Kerie Coutts, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 12. Having experienced the challenges of living with diabetes firsthand, Kerie recognised the need for comprehensive support for children and their families.
Empower T1D now offers camps and activity days throughout the year to support the local community through learning and creating a network of support for children living with Type 1 Diabetes and their families. Camps are free to attend and offer attendees contact with the woodland, farm and a range of activites.
Dates for 2026:
Sessions will run throughout the day at the times shown, if families would like to camp just specify this in your booking enquiry. Although there is running water at the campsite you won't have access to electricity so you'll need to bring everything you need with you including refreshments! There are toilets on site.
Dates are run based on demand, as spaces fill we may open up more available dates throughout the year.
